.Alizarin yellow GG (AYGG) is a yellow colored powder that is an azo dye. Its chemical formula is C13H8N3NaO5. It is known as 5-(3-Nitrophenylazo)salicylic acid sodium salt, Alizarin Yellow 2G, Metachrome Yellow, Mordant Yellow 1. It is soluble in water.
