Alcian Blue 8GX is a purple colored crystalline powder that is a cationic dye. It is Certified for use in staining in Mowry?s pH 2.5 method, in Scott?s pH 5.7 method, and in Kreyberg?s method for keratin and mucin. Its chemical formula is C56H68Cl4CuN16S4.
