Neutral Red, 90% CAS: 553-24-2 | MF: C15H17ClN4 | MW: 288.78S10125, Part Number S10125, Buy Histological Stains & Dyes for Histology, Cytology, Microbiology, Hematology & Biology Lab from TriStains at Chemical World.
.Neutral Red 90% is a crystalline powder that ranges in color from black brown to dark green and produces a red solution when mixed with water. This particular product is 90% pure Neutral Red, with a chemical formula of C15H17ClN4. It is a protonated diaminophenazine dye commonly used for staining tissue sections and cell smears in histology and cytology. Additionally, it serves as a pH indicator, transitioning from red to yellow within the pH range of 6.8 to 8.0. With its role as a dye, acid-base indicator, and two-color indicator.
TriStains provides a marketplace for histology and biological stains, which is comprehensive enough to encompass the peculiar requirements of laboratories specializing in Histology, Cytology, Microbiology, and Hematology. With a reputation for exceeding quality expectations.
TriStains chromatic performance is outstanding which allows for resolution of cell and tissue components fundamental to life sciences to be clearly visualized. Each product under TriStains series is validated for accuracy, reliability and consistency. TriStains, which manufactures and markets stains and indicators in various packing, offers laboratories turn key solutions for all their staining and indicator needs, improving accuracy in every experiment.
Application :
- Neutral red 90% is also recommended for use in viability assessment as it is selectively absorbed by lysosomes and other acidic organelles in cells.
- It is used as a nuclear stain, counterstain in the Gram procedure, either alone, or as a component of the Twort stain (a fast green-neutral red mixture).
- It is a widely used cationic fluorochrome that is known to accumulate in the Golgi complex and nuclei after first staining lysosomes.
- Neutral red is a widely used cationic fluorochrome that is known to accumulate in the Golgi complex and nuclei after first staining lysosomes.
Benefits :
- Selectively stains viable cells, making it a reliable indicator of cell viability
- Versatile and ease of use
- Compatible and cost-effective
