Martius Yellow

Martius Yellow CAS: 605-69-6 | MF: C10H6N2O5 | MW: 234.17S10112, Part Number S10112, Buy Histological Stains & Dyes for Histology, Cytology, Microbiology, Hematology & Biology Lab from TriStains at Chemical World.

.

Martius Yellow is a vivid yellow to orange-yellow crystalline powder. Also known as Naphthol Yellow S or 1-Amino-2-naphthol-4-sulfonic acid, it is a synthetic azo dye with the chemical formula C10H6N2O5. This dye is soluble in water and alcohol, but not in organic solvents. Martius Yellow has been utilized to stain erythrocytes yellow in trichrome staining methods such as Lendrum's Picro Mallory and Slidder's Martius, Scarlet and Blue (MSB), in order to contrast well with red fibrin. Additionally, it can be combined with other small molecular weight yellow dyes to enhance stain intensity.

TriStains provides a marketplace for histology and biological stains, which is comprehensive enough to encompass the peculiar requirements of laboratories specializing in Histology, Cytology, Microbiology, and Hematology. With a reputation for exceeding quality expectations.

TriStains chromatic performance is outstanding which allows for resolution of cell and tissue components fundamental to life sciences to be clearly visualized. Each product under TriStains series is validated for accuracy, reliability and consistency. TriStains, which manufactures and markets stains and indicators in various packing, offers laboratories turn key solutions for all their staining and indicator needs, improving accuracy in every experiment.

Application :

  • Martius Yellow has been used as a staining agent in microscopy and histology, particularly for the visualization of certain cellular structures.
